Saccades is the blog of Yarbus, a collective research project consisting of events and publications dealing with how media, visual culture and technology affect the human condition. Yarbus' program is hosted in the Open Coop, Tolhuistuin, Amsterdam.
Yarbus is also Alfred Lukyanovich Yarbus (Альфред Лукьянович Ярбус, 3 April, 1914; Moscow – ?) who was a Russian psychologist (known there as Alfred Lukjanovic Jarbus) who studied eye movements in the 1950s and 1960s.
